: Application for UN Volunteer – Digital Impact Specialist

Dear Hiring Committee,

I hope you are doing well.

I am applying for the UN Volunteer position of Digital Impact Specialist with UNICEF Jordan. I recently graduated from Al al-Bayt University with a degree in Management Information Systems, and I believe this opportunity matches both my technical background and the type of work I want to grow in.

During university, I focused a lot on practical work more than only theory. I worked on projects related to web development, databases, and digital systems, and my graduation project was building a social platform for the IT faculty at my university. Through this, I gained experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and different digital tools used to organize and improve workflows.

Over time, I also became very interested in AI tools, automation, and cloud services because I enjoy finding ways to make tasks easier and more efficient. I learn new systems quickly, and I like solving technical problems, especially when it helps people work more comfortably.

I am also comfortable supporting users directly and dealing with technical issues step by step. I understand that sometimes people do not need complicated explanations — they just need someone patient who can help them solve the issue clearly and professionally. I believe communication is just as important as technical knowledge in ICT support roles.

What attracted me most to this opportunity is the environment itself. UNICEF is an organization with real impact, and I would value the chance to contribute, learn from experienced teams, and develop my skills in a meaningful setting.
