Role Description The رئيس وحدة الأصول (Head of Asset Unit) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mecca, responsible for leading the management, optimization, and strategic development of the company’s asset portfolio. The role includes overseeing asset planning, classification, and valuation, and ensuring accurate asset records and documentation. The Head of Asset Unit will develop and implement asset management policies, monitor asset performance, and propose initiatives to enhance asset value and utilization. The role involves coordinating with finance, legal, projects, and development teams to align asset strategies with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. The individual will also prepare regular asset reports, support decision-making for investments, disposals, and partnerships, and lead a team to ensure high standards of governance and compliance. Qualifications
Proven experience in asset management, real estate, or infrastructure portfolios, preferably within urban development or public sector investment.
Strong skills in asset valuation, financial analysis, and portfolio optimization, with the ability to interpret and use financial and operational data for decision-making.
Experience in developing and implementing asset management policies, procedures, and control frameworks, including risk and compliance oversight.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, government entities, and private partners.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing multidisciplinary teams, setting objectives, and monitoring performance.
Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., RICS, CFA, PMP) is an advantage.
High proficiency in MS Office and relevant asset management or ERP systems; familiarity with data and reporting tools is beneficial.
Fluency in Arabic and good command of English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of local regulations, municipal frameworks, and the economic context of Makkah is highly desirable.
