Role Description
The Wood Factory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mulham, Riyadh Region, Saudi Arabia. The person in this role will oversee daily wood factory operations, including planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating material flow, and ensuring machines and equipment are used efficiently. Responsibilities include supervising production teams, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and enforcing safety procedures and housekeeping standards. The Wood Factory Manager will implement and maintain quality control procedures, inspect finished wood products, and resolve production issues to meet specifications and delivery timelines. The role also involves optimizing workflows, managing inventory levels, coordinating with procurement and project teams, and preparing regular reports on productivity, quality, and costs to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong production management and manufacturing operations skills, with experience overseeing factory floor activities and coordinating multiple production lines.
Proficiency in production planning and operations management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Hands-on experience in quality control, with the ability to implement inspection standards, interpret specifications, and address nonconformities.
Background in wood manufacturing, joinery, or related industrial production is highly preferred.
Proven leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, training, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety, productivity, and cost control.
Ability to read technical drawings and production documents, and to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with ERP or factory management systems and basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
