Role Description The Wellness Expert | Freelance role is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting clients in developing and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits that complement their mental health journeys. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting virtual wellness consultations, assessing client needs, and creating personalized wellness plans that may integrate exercise, stress management, sleep hygiene, and nutrition guidance within appropriate scope of practice. The Wellness Expert will collaborate with mental health professionals where needed, provide ongoing check-ins, and track client progress using TherapyMantra’s online tools. Additional tasks include delivering educational content (e.g., webinars, articles, or workshops), maintaining accurate records, and offering empathetic, client-centered support through secure digital channels. Scheduling is flexible, with the expectation of reliable availability and professional communication for clients in various time zones.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build trust, show empathy, and support clients in a respectful, non-judgmental manner.
• Candidates should possess Health & Wellness and Exercise Physiology knowledge to design safe, evidence-informed wellness recommendations aligned with clients’ physical and mental health needs.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain wellness concepts in accessible language.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or certification in wellness coaching, exercise science, nutrition, psychology, public health, or related fields are beneficial.
• Experience working in telehealth or online coaching environments, familiarity with digital tools and apps, and a demonstrated commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive care are highly valued.
• Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, maintain client confidentiality, and adhere to professional and ethical guidelines is required.
