Tooling Technician Full Time NEW

Job Description

• Responsible for maintaining and improving all tooling jigs, fixtures, composite tooling, and CNC fixtures in line with production and customer requirements to support business objectives.
• Understanding of composite materials (e.g., carbon fiber, fiberglass)
• Understanding of metal types (aluminium, titanium, steel).
• Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometres, callipers and height gauges.
• Ability to evaluate and repair composite tooling defects.
• Ability to read customer drawings, drawings, procedures and technical documents.
• Set up and operate of metal working machine tools such as saws, drills, lathes, vertical milling, belt & disk sanders, grinders and welding equipment.
• Experience of working to tight production targets .
