Job Summary:
The Timekeeper is responsible for accurately recording and maintaining employees’ attendance, working hours, overtime, and leave records on construction sites. The role ensures compliance with company policies and supports payroll processing by providing reliable time data.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily attendance of all site employees (labor and staff).
Track working hours, overtime, absences, and leave.
Maintain and update timesheets (manual or system-based).
Coordinate with site supervisors to verify attendance data.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly time reports to HR and payroll.
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
Handle employee inquiries related to attendance and time records.
Monitor late arrivals, early departures, and absenteeism.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of attendance records.
Support HR in audits and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience as a Timekeeper, preferably in construction.
Good knowledge of attendance systems and MS Excel.
Familiarity with UAE labor law is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
