Role Description

The Teaching Assistant – Computer Science Engineering will support faculty by assisting with academic and research responsibilities. This includes conducting laboratory sessions, grading assignments, evaluating coursework, attending departmental meetings, and providing guidance to students during office hours. The Teaching Assistant will also support the development of educational materials and oversee tutorials. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Kuwait, and the selected candidate will play an essential role in enhancing the learning experience of students in computer science engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java, and practical experience in computer science and engineering principles.
• Ability to facilitate laboratory sessions, conduct research experiments, and assist in the development of course materials.
• Strong communication skills to provide academic guidance and consult with students during office hours.
• Organizational skills for managing and grading assignments and maintaining academic records.
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools, learning platforms, and software used in engineering education.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. qualification or prior teaching experience is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for providing practical, hands-on learning opportunities to students.
