Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tax Trainer to design, deliver, and maintain high-quality training programs covering a wide range of tax subjects, including Custom Duty, VAT Reconciliation, and Zakat & Tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Program Development

• Develop and update training materials aligned with current tax laws and regulations.
• Create comprehensive modules on:
• Custom Duty procedures and compliance
• VAT filing and reconciliation
• Zakat & Tax regulations and calculations
• Ensure all content reflects the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices.

2. Training Delivery

• Conduct training sessions for employees at all levels through workshops, webinars, presentations, and one-on-one sessions.
• Deliver specialized training on:
• Import/export duty structures
• VAT adjustments and return reconciliation
• Zakat rules, tax planning, and compliance requirements
• Utilize varied training methods to suit different learning styles.

3. Individual & Group Coaching

• Provide personalized support for staff needing deeper understanding of complex tax topics.
• Lead group discussions, case studies, and scenario-based learning exercises.

4. Compliance & Regulatory Updates

• Stay updated on changes in:
• Customs regulations
• VAT laws
• Zakat & Tax Authority guidelines
• Integrate all updates into training programs and ensure compliance across materials.

5. Assessments & Reporting

• Develop assessments to measure understanding and training effectiveness.
• Track participant performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide clear feedback and recommendations for enhanced learning.

6. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work closely with internal tax and finance teams to ensure content accuracy.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to build overall organizational tax competency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CTA, VAT Diploma) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of Custom Duty, VAT, and Zakat & Tax laws.
• Minimum 2–5 years of tax training or hands-on tax experience (training experience preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to simplify complex tax concepts for non-specialists.
