Moore JFC is seeking a highly experienced and driven Tax Manager to join its growing Tax practice. The role is suited for a professional with 6–8 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of corporate tax compliance and advisory engagements, manage key client relationships, and play a critical role in building and strengthening the firm’s tax offerings in the UAE.
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality service delivery, providing technical leadership to the team, and advising clients on complex corporate tax matters under UAE Corporate Tax law and other applicable tax regimes. The role requires strong commercial awareness, leadership capability, and the ability to translate technical tax guidance into practical business solutions while staying abreast of regulatory and legislative developments.
Job Description
• Lead and oversee UAE Corporate Tax compliance engagements, including review and finalization of tax computations, returns, and related filings
• Provide technical advice to clients on UAE Corporate Tax and other corporate tax matters, including structuring and risk mitigation
• Manage client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact and ensuring timely and effective delivery of services
• Review and sign off work prepared by team members, providing technical direction, coaching, and performance feedback
• Manage and support tax audits, enquiries, and correspondence with tax authorities
• Conduct in depth technical research and prepare opinions, advisory notes, and client presentations
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on clients and internal processes
• Support business development initiatives, including proposals, pitches, and cross service collaboration
• Ensure compliance with internal risk management, quality control, and documentation standards
Qualifications and Skills
• CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
• 6–8 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in a professional services or consulting firm
• Strong and practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax law; exposure to other tax jurisdictions is an advantage
• Proven experience in managing client relationships and leading engagement teams
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and operate autonomously in a client facing role
