Role Overview

The Tax Consultant will play a key role in delivering Corporate Income Tax and VAT advisory, compliance, and structuring solutions to a diverse client portfolio. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to grow within a dynamic, consulting-led tax environment in the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory on Corporate Income Tax and VAT regulations within Bahrain and the GCC
• Manage end-to-end tax compliance processes including registration, filings, and documentation
• Review business transactions and assess tax implications and exposure risks
• Support tax impact assessments, tax structuring, and readiness reviews
• Prepare high-quality tax advisory reports, memos, and client presentations
• Monitor and interpret updates in regional tax laws and regulatory frameworks
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
• Contribute to building strong client relationships and identifying advisory opportunities

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Corporate Tax and VAT
• Prior experience in a Big 4 or leading audit / consulting firm is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Bahrain and GCC tax regulations
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent will be an advantage
• Proven experience in client handling, advisory, and compliance delivery
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
