Non-conformance Evaluation and Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose and resolve manufacturing and customer-reported issues, performing investigations into component failures or product performance problems.
Engineering Change Management: Process engineering change orders (ECOs) and modify designs, CAD models, and assembly procedures for improvements or fixes.
Component Obsolescence & Supply Chain Support: Identify and qualify replacements for parts that are no longer available to ensure production continuity.
Process Improvement & Cost Reduction: Actively identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce product costs through design optimization.
Technical Documentation: Maintain and update product documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Experience: 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in product design, sustaining, or similar roles.
Problem-Solving and Decision Making Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform root-cause investigation.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CreoSE), PLM systems, and Engineering Calculations
Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers, and internal teams.
