Strategy Consultant – Oil & Gas (Business Analyst/ Consultant/ Senior Consultant) Full Time

Position Description

The job is based in Dubai with weekly travels to GCC countries.

What you will do:

• Problem-Solving: Leveraging a hypothesis-driven approach to solve technical issues.
• Quantitative analysis: Building complex Excel models to perform valuations, market sizing, or cost-benefit analyses, ensuring all data is “stress-tested” & logically sound.
• Stakeholder management & Data gathering: Assisting in primary research by conducting interviews with industry experts or client employees to capture qualitative insights that aren’t available in published reports.
• Storytelling: Structuring & developing client documents that translate technical findings into visual “storylines”.
• Workstream Management: Taking end-to-end ownership of a specific module of the project to develop insightful client-ready recommendations & syntheses focusing on actions & implications for the client (for Senior Consultant).

Your skills:

• Outstanding problem-solving & communication skills, with the ability to distil complex issues & communicate solutions effectively.

Your education:

• MSc. in Economics, Finance or Master in Engineering (petroleum, energy, mechanical, chemical, electrical…) from a renowned university.
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.

Your experience:

• Business Analyst: Minimum 6 months at a consulting firm or 1 year in a non-consulting role.
• Consultant: Minimum 2 years at a consulting firm or 3 years in a non-consulting role.
• Senior Consultant: Minimum 4 years at a consulting firm or 5 years in a non-consulting role.

While not mandatory, we value experience in the energy or oil & gas sectors, whether gained in consulting or industry. Familiarity with the Middle East region is an added advantage.
