Storekeeper and Stock Controller Full Time

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Storekeeper and Stock Controller role based in Shuwaikh. The role is responsible for receiving, unloading, and checking incoming materials and products against delivery notes and purchase orders. The Storekeeper and Stock Controller will organize and maintain the warehouse, ensure proper packing and storage, label items accurately, and arrange goods for efficient picking and dispatch. Daily tasks include monitoring stock levels, performing regular inventory counts, updating inventory records in the system, and reporting discrepancies or damages. The role will also coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to fulfill orders on time, operate material handling equipment where required, and follow all safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in inventory-related skills, including Inventory Control and Inventory Management.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse operations such as Packing and Unloading.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including Forklift Operation (valid certification preferred).
• Previous experience as a storekeeper, stock controller, or warehouse assistant, ideally in construction materials or related industries.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems for data entry and stock tracking.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
• Physical ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing stock in a warehouse setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in warehousing or logistics is an advantage.
