Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Engineer.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the works on site while coordinating with different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Reports:

• Prepare daily progress report to be sent by end of each day
• Prepare a weekly report summarizing works done and scheduled works for the next week
• Prepare weekly progress report to be presented to the client with photos and updated time schedule

Project Coordination:

• Prepare, follow up and update time schedule of the project
• Co-ordinate project meetings and all issues with client/consultant/suppliers/sub-contractors

Site Coordination:

• Receive and hand over works trade by trade (استلام البنود) from subcontractors, ensuring proper completion before acceptance.
• Prepare and maintain handover forms for all subcontracted works.
• Supervise site activities and ensure that all works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications and make sure it meets the required high level of quality and design requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with project requirements.
• Kick off, monitor and co-ordinate works performed by various disciplines/subcontractors
• Coordinate detailed finish works between subcontractors and project management to ensure smooth workflow across all trades.
• Escalate in case of delays, or emergencies at construction site to Management
• Ensure safety requirements are met on site
• Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce contractual obligations.
• Submit method statements and check shop drawings prior to execution.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities and manage the approval process.
• Ensure site logistics and storage areas are optimized for smooth workflow
• Secure and organize all approved drawings and documents required for site execution.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders related to site needs.
• Monitor ongoing site requirements and coordinate timely procurement of materials and services.
• Maintain a decision log documenting all site instructions, approvals, and changes.
• Prepare agendas and minutes of meeting for weekly site meetings and track follow-up actions.
• Prepare / supervise Quantity Surveying with subcontractors, suppliers and consultant / owner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Strong communication skills; with an ability to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Organized with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and technical support expertise.
• Good team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Good command of English.
