Coordinate and oversee the daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of steel products.
Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
Manage the end-to-end shipping process for gold, silver, and other precious metals or other Industrial materials between Egypt and GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc.).
Track shipments and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing any delays or discrepancies.
Ensure all shipping activities adhere to company policies, safety standards, and international shipping regulations.
Assist in optimizing shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of shipping transactions and generate reports for management review.
Support the implementation of process improvements and new technologies within the shipping department.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of proven experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably within the manufacturing or precious metal industry.
Strong understanding of shipping documentation, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in processing shipping documents.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to operational challenges.
