Hi

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shipping & Logistics Officer . The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating international and local shipments, managing logistics operations, and ensuring efficient movement of goods while maintaining compliance with shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments by sea, air, and land.
• Manage freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers.
• Prepare and review shipping documents including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Customs Documentation.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to management and clients.
• Negotiate freight rates and logistics contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
• Coordinate warehouse, transportation, and delivery schedules.
• Resolve shipping delays, claims, and logistics-related issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and logistics reports.
• Support procurement and supply chain activities when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP, etc.), and customs clearance processes.
• Experience handling sea freight containers, air freight shipments, and land transportation.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and trade compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics management systems.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing products internationally
• Knowledge of container booking, cargo consolidation, and freight cost analysis.
• Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain software.
