Senior Ticketing Agent Full Time NEW

AL YAS GROUP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ticketing Agent to join our premier travel and corporate services team in Baghdad. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end flight and corporate travel reservations, constructing complex international itineraries, and providing exceptional VIP customer service.

As a Senior Agent, you will collaborate closely with our corporate sales and event management teams to deliver flawless travel logistics for high-profile clients, international delegates, and scientific conferences.

Key Responsibilities

• GDS & Ticketing Mastery: Manage high-volume ticketing operations, including issuing, re-issuing, manual fare construction, and split-ticketing for complex multi-destination international routes.
• Corporate & VIP Concierge Management: Design bespoke luxury travel programs for corporate clients and VIPs, overseeing 5-star hotel procurement, private airport transfers, and “Fast-Track” airport services.
• Logistical Oversight: Plan and coordinate comprehensive end-to-end travel itineraries for corporate delegations, training trips, and international scientific conferences—ensuring ground logistics (car rentals, local multi-lingual guides) are fully secured.
• Vendor Negotiation: Establish and manage strategic relationships with local and international airlines, global hotel chains, and B2B platforms to secure competitive corporate rates and exclusive group allocations.
• Financial Risk Management: Regularly monitor Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) reports to ensure complete compliance with IATA standards, maintaining strict accuracy to achieve zero Agency Debit Memos (ADMs) and maximize travel budget efficiency.
• Client Relations & Support: Deliver immediate, high-touch customer support to resolve complex booking inquiries, re-routings, delays, or emergency travel modifications.

Core Competencies & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience working in a high-volume travel agency, corporate travel desk, or airline ticketing office.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), specifically Amadeus (highly preferred), Galileo, or Sabre. Certification in manual fare construction is a strong advantage.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep, up-to-date understanding of IATA regulations, global hotel booking engines, and specific visa requirements/travel restrictions for Iraqi passport holders.
• Languages: Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential for negotiating with international airlines and global hospitality partners.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a rigorous attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
