This position is based in the Chouf region, primarily in Bakaata and surrounding areas.

Due to the operational nature of the role and the need for regular on-site presence, candidates must currently reside within reasonable commuting distance of the Chouf area or be willing to relocate before joining.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Expert to join us and play a critical leadership role across our technical operations.

The successful candidate will act as a senior technical authority and operational leader responsible for supporting, coordinating, mentoring, and strengthening multiple technical teams operating within a mission-critical ISP and IT services environment.

This role requires a unique combination of deep technical expertise, operational excellence, and exceptional management capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in Internet service delivery, network infrastructure, systems administration, data center operations, and large-scale production environments where service availability is business-critical.

The position works and collaborates closely with the NOC, Infrastructure Teams, System Engineers, Network Engineers, Technical Operations Teams, and Field Technicians to ensure operational stability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership

• Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex systems, network, infrastructure, and service issues.
• Provide expert guidance on architecture, infrastructure design, operational best practices, and service optimization.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical incidents and service-impacting issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Review and improve existing infrastructure, systems, processes, and operational standards.
• Support strategic technical planning and decision-making.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Act as a unifying technical leader across all technical departments.
• Coordinate activities between NOC, Infrastructure, Systems, Network, and Operations teams.
• Mentor engineers, administrators, technicians, and operational staff.
• Establish accountability and ensure technical initiatives are completed successfully.
• Improve communication, collaboration, and operational efficiency between teams.
• Support workforce development through coaching and knowledge transfer.

Infrastructure & Operations Management

• Ensure high availability and reliability of critical services and infrastructure.
• Monitor operational risks and proactively implement improvements.
• Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
• Support infrastructure modernization and optimization projects.
• Ensure operational procedures and documentation remain accurate and effective.

Project & Service Delivery

• Participate in the design, implementation, and review of infrastructure and service projects.
• Validate technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Ensure projects align with operational requirements and business objectives.
• Support vendor evaluations and technology selection processes.

Mandatory Critical ExperienceMission-Critical ISP / Internet Operations Experience

This position is intended for candidates who have worked within highly available, mission-critical production environments where service continuity is essential and downtime has immediate operational and business impact.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in:

• Internet Service Providers (ISP).
• Telecommunications environments.
• Data Center operations.
• Large-scale service provider infrastructure.
• 24/7 operational environments with on-call and escalation procedures.
• Critical production systems where service interruptions require immediate response.
• Managing and supporting environments with strict uptime requirements.
• Incident management, service restoration, and escalation handling.
• Leading teams during outages, emergencies, and high-pressure operational situations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, projects, and operational activities.
• Proven record of delivering results within complex technical environments.
