Position: Senior Import & Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Heliopolis, Cairo
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Import & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in import operations, preferably within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing import activities, coordinating with international suppliers and freight forwarders, ensuring compliance with import regulations, and supporting efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end import operations from purchase order placement to final delivery.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
• Follow up on shipping documents and ensure compliance with customs and import regulations.
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays or operational issues.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow.
• Track inventory levels and support demand planning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of import transactions and related documentation.
• Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of proven experience in Import Operations, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs clearance procedures, and international logistics.
• Experience dealing with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and overseas suppliers.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
