Job Description
The Steel Detailing Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of steel structures, collaborating with architects and engineers, ensuring accuracy in structural design, and preparing documentation needed for fabrication and construction. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting blueprints, developing and modifying steel detail drawings, and coordinating with project teams to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar software for steel detailing
- Strong understanding of structural steel design and fabrication processes
- Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing steel detail drawings
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams.
