Senior Software Engineer – Oracle OSM, OEP and OEM Full Time

We are hiring for one our clients which is a telecom operator in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain OSM cartridges for telecom order workflows, should be able to perform code build and deployment of the completed codes into the development and testing environment.
• The candidate should possess good telecom network domain knowledge, including Wireless, DSL, and VoIP, with hands-on experience in Voice, Data, and GSM service implementations.
• Analysis, debugging and resolution of orders through fallout management.
• The candidate must have hand-on experience in OSM upgradation. This includes the expertise on data migration from one version to another version.
• Should be able to Perform impact assessment and compatibility analysis.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline DevOps workflows.
• Good understanding of Oracle WebLogic server installation, Patching, configuration, tunning, scaling and integration with other WebLogic applications.
• Handle end-to-end order lifecycle: Order capture → decomposition → orchestration → completion.
• Develop: Automation plug-ins (Java), XQuery transformations, SOAP API.
• Manage integrations with: External OSS/BSS systems like (UIM, ASAP, BRM, OEP, CRM etc.).
• Performed impact assessment and compatibility analysis.
• Should have understanding on Design Studio projects, Cartridge packaging.
• Should have knowledge on Order Entry Point (OEP) Middleware which transform and integrate using Apache Camel framework & Spring 3.0. Idea about order repository where it stores order and order line information and stores milestones received during execution of order
• Able to enhance the code as per requirement.
• Should have worked on web services which take order request from upstream systems and transforms and send to OSM for Fulfillment.
• Should have worked on milestone updates from Downstream to Upstream CRM System.
• Should have worked on Notification Framework which listens to events from different sources and sends them to appropriate channels.
• Able to develop and enhance bulk order module for bulk order provisioning.
• Should have hands-on experience with OEM Monitoring tool for monitoring different systems in Project.
• Able to install, configure, Integrate with external system for Incident Management.
• Should be able to configure agents, create metrics and add & configure hosts, DB, Middleware and set up Incident Rules for Monitoring System Performance and Health.
• Knowledge of GIT Repository for Product Workspace management, CICD, Jenkins for building and deploying Code.

Technical Skill Required

• Must have hands-on experience of Oracle OSM (Order and Service Management).
• Must have hands-on experience of Oracle OEP (Order Entry Point).
• Must have hands-on experience of Oracle OEM (Oracle Enterprise Monitoring) tool.
• Must have hands-on experience of J2EE, Spring, Core Jave, Apache camel Routing.
• Must have hands-on experience of xml technologies like XQuery, XPath, XML, SOAP API.
• Must have hands-on experience of shell scripting and be comfortable in working on Linux Environment’s.
• Expertise on ant build tool.
• Hands-on experience on SQL / PLSQL.
• Familiar with GIT Repository, Jenkins and Artifactory.
