Could you be the Senior SCC Engineer in Cairo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.

You’ll be a part of the SCCApplication Design team, where the SCC system comprises three subsystems: ATS (Automatic Train Supervision), SCADA, and the security system. You’ll specifically help design, implement, and test ATS system site data. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business and all over the world, ensuring seamless collaboration and innovation.

You’ll specifically take care of defining and validating all ATS site data and parameters to customize for a certain project/product, but also support integration, testing, and commissioning activities.

We’ll look to you for:

• Defining and validating all ATS site data and parameters to customize for a specific project/product
• Defining documentation, performing sub-system tests, and verifying traceability
• Ensuring configuration management for the project data
• Supporting integration, testing, and commissioning activities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Proactively identifying and resolving technical challenges

All About You

• A degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering
• 4–6 years of experience in the railway industry
• Fundamental knowledge of programming, Python, and SQL
• Experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems
• Fluency in the English language
• Analytical capabilities in identifying defects and suggesting corrective solutions
• Teamwork skills and transparency in communication
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn
