Overview:
Seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive project sales for building materials (gypsum boards, wood partitions, raised floors). The role focuses on expanding market share, achieving sales targets and margins, and managing project pipelines across the assigned region. Reports to the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute sales plans for assigned projects and territories to meet revenue, margin, and collection targets.
– Identify, qualify, and win new project opportunities while growing business with existing accounts.
– Conduct regular client and site visits; build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end clients.
– Prepare and submit technical submittals, proposals, and documentation to secure technical approvals.
– Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, technical) to ensure timely delivery, quality service, and on-time collections.
– Plan and support marketing activities and campaigns to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
– Manage the CRM database; track opportunities, forecasts, complaints, and resolutions.
– Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing; provide timely reports and recommendations.
– Ensure adherence to company sales policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree; specialization in Sales/Marketing preferred.
– 3–5 years’ experience in project sales and business development within building materials or related sectors.
– Proven track record managing end-to-end project sales, from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and collections.
– Strong technical understanding of gypsum boards, wood partitions, and raised floors, or similar products.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
– Proficient with CRM and MS Office; strong planning, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
– Based in Riyadh with willingness to travel within the assigned region.
