Senior Procurement Officer (MEP) – Corporate Division

Role Description:

The Senior Procurement Officer (MEP) is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing the supply of materials required for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. The role focuses on cost optimization, quality assurance, and timely delivery while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

-Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers of MEP materials, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure a reliable and consistent supply chain.

-Develop and implement procurement strategies (e.g., long-term agreements, framework contracts) to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

-Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to determine material specifications and ensure alignment with project requirements, industry standards, and regulations.

Qualification/ Experience :

Education: Graduation in any field /: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience: 8 + years of procurement experience, preferably within MEP or construction projects in the UAE or GCC region.

Strong understanding of MEP materials, systems, specifications, and quality standards.

Familiarity with local and international suppliers and market dynamics.
