Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our legal team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, with occasional requirements to attend client offices, in-person meetings, or similar engagements as needed.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting a broad range of legal and administrative matters in a professional legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level paralegal support across a range of legal matters.
- Conduct legal research using recognized legal resource tools and databases.
- Draft, review, organize, and manage legal documents, correspondence, agreements, and filings.
- Assist with matter management, document control, due diligence, and client communications.
- Support lawyers and clients with legal research, transaction support, and administrative coordination.
- Attend client offices or in-person meetings when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a paralegal or in a comparable legal support role.
- Strong working knowledge of managing IP portfolios for clients.
- Legal research and legal resource tools.
- Excellent drafting, proofreading, document management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing deadlines and priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a professional client-facing manner.
- High level of confidentiality, judgment, and attention to detail.
Advantageous Experience
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights.
- Experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Experience supporting commercial, corporate, or transactional legal matters.
