Job Description
The Senior Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outpatient pharmacy.
Key responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, counseling patients on their prescriptions, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining inventory levels, and providing guidance to pharmacy staff.
The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes and ensuring the safe use of medications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and a valid pharmacist license in Egypt
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and pharmaceutical compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to counsel patients effectively and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Leadership and staff management experience, with the ability to mentor and supervise pharmacy team members
- Proficiency in using pharmacy information systems and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure proper medication dispensing and safety
