About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization platforms, networks, and data center operations. The role is critical to ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT systems within an enterprise/government environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, storage, and data center systems)
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Configure and manage firewalls and network security
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis
• Perform patching, upgrades, and system hardening
• Monitor systems using tools such as PRTG or similar
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and IT standards
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers
• Support and guide technical support and field technicians

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• +5 years of experience in IT infrastructure
• Experience in enterprise or government environments is preferred

• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO
• Backup Solutions (Acronis, Veeam, etc.)
• Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs)
• Firewall (FortiGate or similar)

• Monitoring tools (PRTG or similar)
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge
• Preferred Certifications
