Senior Financial Controller & Contract Specialist – 1 Year Contract Extendable Full Time NEW

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Controller & Contract Specialist with a strong background in financial control, audit, and contract management.

This role is ideal for candidates coming from a Big 4 audit background who have transitioned into financial control and are able to manage contractual financial risks and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Control & Governance

• Lead financial control activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and IFRS
• Manage financial reporting accuracy, cost control, and budget monitoring
• Strengthen internal controls and support audit readiness initiatives
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Liaise with internal and external auditors

Contract Management

• Review and manage contracts with a focus on financial terms, risk, and compliance
• Ensure contracts align with company financial policies and controls
• Provide financial input during contract negotiations and amendments
• Monitor contract performance, obligations, and financial exposure
• Work closely with legal and commercial teams on contract structuring

Compliance & Risk

• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Analyze and mitigate financial and contractual risks
• Implement best practices in financial control and contract oversight

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial control, audit, or related field
• Mandatory Big 4 experience (audit or financial advisory)
• Strong background in financial controlling, internal controls, and audit
• Proven exposure to contract review / management from a financial perspective
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS)
• Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments
