Senior Developer: Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC) Full Time

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a Senior Developer specializing in Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC). The Senior Developer will design, implement, and maintain CDGC solutions, including configuration of metadata ingestion, data cataloging, lineage, and data quality rules across enterprise data platforms. The role involves collaborating with architects, data stewards, and business stakeholders to translate data governance requirements into scalable technical solutions and best practices. Daily responsibilities include managing CDGC environments, optimizing performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to data governance policies, standards, and security controls. The Senior Developer will also document solutions, provide technical guidance to junior team members, and contribute to continuous improvement of Unifi’s data management frameworks and accelerators.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), including platform configuration, administration, metadata management, data quality, data classification, business glossary management, and data lineage.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering end-to-end Informatica CDGC solutions, including architecture, implementation, integration, and production support.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing CDGC components, including: Data Catalog, Business Glossary, Policies & Processes, Data Quality & Scorecards, Data Classification, Data Lineage, Stewardship Workflows
• Experience integrating CDGC with enterprise data platforms using scanners, connectors, APIs, and cloud/on-premises data sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT platforms, and business intelligence environments.
• Strong knowledge of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) ecosystem and related services such as CDQ, CDI, MDM, and Metadata Command Center is highly desirable.
• Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.
• Ability in conducting: Requirements Gathering Workshops, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Governance Adoption & Enablement Workshops, Knowledge Transfer Sessions
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience, with the ability to resolve complex metadata, lineage, integration, and platform-related issues.
• Ability in developing technical and functional documentation, including: Solution Architecture Documents, High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Configuration Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Runbooks and Operational Documentation
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both business and technical audiences.
• Experience working in consulting, system integration, or enterprise-scale data management environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications are preferred, including Informatica IDMC, CDGC, CDQ, MDM, DAMA CDMP, or equivalent data governance and data management certifications.
• Knowledge of industry-standard data management frameworks and regional regulatory standards is preferred, including: DAMA-DMBOK, NDMO / NDI (Saudi Arabia), NPC Data Management Framework (Qatar) etc.
• Arabic language proficiency (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is highly preferred.
• The candidate should have strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently
• Willingness and ability to lead and mentor junior consultants.
• Willingness to travel for project onsite deployment in other Middle East countries
