Fenchurch Faris for Reinsurance Brokers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Claims Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reinsurance claims processes, coordinating with clients and reinsurers, ensuring timely claim settlements, and delivering exceptional claims service.

Key Responsibilities

·        Handle and manage reinsurance claims from notification through settlement and closure.

·        Review claim documents and ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contractual requirements.

·        Coordinate with insurance companies, clients, loss adjusters, and reinsurers regarding claim submissions and follow-ups.

·        Monitor claim recoveries and ensure timely collection from reinsurers.

·        Maintain accurate claims records and ensure proper documentation and filing.

·        Follow up on outstanding claims and provide regular status updates to clients and management.

·        Analyze claims trends and prepare reports, statistics, and management information.

·        Assist in resolving complex claim issues and disputes with reinsurers and other stakeholders.

·        Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards.

·        Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance claims handling efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.

✔ Minimum 2–4 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or claims management.

✔ Strong understanding of reinsurance claims processes, documentation, and recovery procedures.

✔ Experience dealing with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and loss adjusters.

✔ Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and claims management systems.

✔ Good command of English, both written and spoken.
