Job Description
The Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing customer accounts, monitoring collections, and ensuring the accuracy of receivables records. The role includes following up on outstanding balances, preparing customer statements, reconciling accounts, recording receipts, and coordinating with the sales and finance teams to support smooth cash flow operations. The candidate will also handle customer account discrepancies, prepare periodic receivables and aging reports, and provide management with accurate financial data and analysis. Experience in the real estate sector is essential to effectively manage contracts, installment schedules, and customer payments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or customer accounting.
- Real estate development experience is a must.
- Strong knowledge of collections, reconciliations, receivables, and customer account management.
- Good understanding of contracts, installment plans, and payment follow-up.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
