Oversee the periodic maintenance of all mechanical systems and specialized equipment (R.O. units, STP units, and lift pumps) in compliance with set regulations.
Inspect technical mechanical operations to ensure any malfunctioning or downtime is resolved in a timely and effective manner.
Review maintenance periodic reports provided by the team to follow up on working schedules and operational efficiency
2. Strategic Maintenance & Technical Analysis
Establish and update mechanical maintenance procedures and methods in conformance with Community Engineering policies.
Reduce equipment delays and repair costs by reviewing performance data and approving preventive maintenance plans.
Prepare mechanical research and diagnostic reports to propose modifications, enhancements, and the integration of new technologies. 3. Resource & Financial Control
Control maintenance tools, spare parts, and equipment while monitoring mechanical inventory records.
Place orders for spare parts according to technical requirements and the established budget.
Monitor and control maintenance costs and supervise external contractor operations to maintain strict project schedules. 4. Team Leadership & Development
Assign projects to team members and provide technical direction to prioritize work schedules.
Contribute to recruiting, training, and developing staff capabilities to ensure the team can achieve division objectives.
Provide on-the-job training to subordinates to maximize performance and improve technical calibre. Communication & Relationships
Internal: Coordinate regularly with Finance, Procurement, and Construction departments.
External: Manage relationships with Mechanical Equipment Providers and Mechanical Contractors.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline.
Minimum Experience : 8–10 years of experience in a related position.
Technical Skills : Deep knowledge of large-scale water treatment (R.O.) and sewage (STP) systems.
Leadership Skills : Strong analytical and leadership skills with decision-making abilities.
Soft Skills :Effective interpersonal communication and the ability to work under pressure.
