Sales Manager / Senior Sales Engineer – Natural Gas Compressors & Oilfield Equipment

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager / Senior Sales Engineer to lead business development and sales activities for Natural Gas Compressors and Oilfield Equipment acrossKuwait. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within the oil & gas sector.
The position will focus on promoting and selling Natural Gas Compressor Packages, Fracturing Fleets, Cementing Units, Coiled Tubing Units, Nitrogen Pumpers, Flowline Products, and other oilfield equipment solutions to E&P operators, service companies, and EPC contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within Kuwait’s oil & gas industry.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, technical stakeholders, and procurement teams.
- Develop and execute market penetration strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
- Generate and manage sales leads, customer visits, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Support tender preparation, bid submissions, contract negotiations, and project execution activities.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Conduct market research and prepare competitor analysis reports to support management decision-making.
- Analyze sales performance, pricing trends, market potential, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Resolve customer operational and commercial issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and CRM records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and business ethics standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Proven experience selling Natural Gas Compressors, Gas Processing Equipment, Well Services Equipment, or other Oilfield Equipment.
- Strong network and relationships within Kuwait oil & gas operators, service companies, and EPC contractors.
- Experience with tendering, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
- Strong understanding of upstream and midstream oil & gas operations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple business opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Kuwait.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with natural gas compression solutions.
- Knowledge of fracturing, cementing, coiled tubing, nitrogen pumping, and flowline equipment.
- Existing relationships with Pertamina Group companies, major operators, and oilfield service providers.
