Overview:
The Revenue Operations & Performance director is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sales operations lifecycle, from order management through revenue tracking and performance governance. This role ensures operational excellence, data integrity, and alignment across sales, finance, and delivery functions. Acting as a strategic partner to the VP Sales and CRO, the Director provides actionable insights, drives forecasting accuracy, and establishes robust governance frameworks to support sustainable revenue growth. The position combines strategic leadership with strong operational execution and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee the full sales order lifecycle, including order entry, service order creation, and handover to delivery teams
•Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of order processing and documentation
•Monitor revenue recognition milestones and billing triggers to ensure alignment with contractual terms
•Coordinate with finance teams on invoicing, collections, and revenue reporting
•Track and manage service order pipeline and overall revenue performance
•Ensure CRM data integrity, pipeline hygiene, and adherence to reporting standards
•Define and monitor key KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, conversion rates, win rates)
•Conduct pipeline reviews and variance analysis against targets, identifying risks and opportunities
•Provide regular performance insights and executive reporting to VP Sales and CRO
•Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and analytics for sales performance visibility
•Translate data into actionable recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and revenue outcomes
•Lead sales force planning aligned with market demand and business strategy
•Support quota-setting processes, territory design, and capacity planning
•Manage sales incentive programs, ensuring alignment with performance objectives and fairness
•Develop revenue models, scenario planning, and forecasting inputs
•Establish and enforce sales operations governance, policies, and authority frameworks
•Own and continuously improve SOPs for revenue operations and order management
•Conduct quality assurance checks and drive continuous process improvement initiatives
•Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and adherence to regulatory and internal standards
•Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Delivery, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and execution
•Act as a central point for coordination across commercial and operational functions
•Influence senior stakeholders to drive process adoption and performance improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
Experience:
•10–14 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial management, or related roles
•Proven track record in leading sales operations, forecasting, and revenue management functions
•Strong experience working with senior leadership (VP Sales, CRO, Finance) in complex organizations
•Experience in industries such as technology, consulting, or services is preferred
