Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retail Mart Cashier located in Cairo, Egypt. The Cashier will handle customer transactions, process payments, manage cash registers, and ensure accurate and prompt check-out procedures. Other responsibilities include assisting customers, addressing inquiries, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, and ensuring compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills to assist and engage with customers effectively
• Basic math and cash handling skills, including the ability to process payments and manage disputes professionally
• Organizational skills for managing receipts, maintaining order, and ensuring the checkout area is tidy
• Teamwork and the ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations
• Attention to detail for identifying pricing discrepancies and ensuring accurate transactions
• Flexibility and willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays
• Prior cashier or retail experience and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems are advantageous but not required
