Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Baghdad for a Purchaser. The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services in accordance with company requirements and budgets. Key tasks include supplier evaluation and management, inventory monitoring, ensuring timely delivery of goods, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to align procurement activities with operational needs.
Qualifications
- Procurement and Negotiation skills, including vendor management and contract negotiation
- Strong organizational and inventory management abilities
- Good knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics management
- Proficient in communication and relationship-building with suppliers and internal teams
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with ERP systems (preferred)
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Prior experience in the food supply chain or related industries is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
