Product Technology Manager Full Time NEW

Role Description The Product Technology Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The person in this position will oversee the planning, development, and optimization of technology solutions that support food safety operations and product lifecycle management. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating software development activities, managing technology projects, and working with cross-functional teams to define requirements and prioritize enhancements. The role involves analyzing system performance, identifying process improvements, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standards, and preparing reports for leadership. The Product Technology Manager will also support stakeholder communication, provide guidance on technology best practices, and help ensure that implemented solutions are reliable, secure, and user-friendly.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decisions.
• Solid foundation in information technology, with experience in systems integration, software tools, and technology support within an operational or regulatory environment.
• Proven project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Hands-on understanding of software development processes, such as requirements gathering, testing, and iterative improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Agile) are an asset.
• Experience in food safety, public health, regulatory agencies, or related sectors is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic or French is an advantage.
• Capacity to work on-site in Dubai, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to evolving organizational priorities.
