Location: Baghdad- Al Mansour

Working Hours: 9 hours per Day / 5 Days per week

Range Salary: Based On Salary Scale

Job Summary

Translate business objectives into actionable product requirements and ensure delivery of value-driven solutions. The Product Owner collaborates with stakeholders, development teams, and management to define priorities, refine product backlogs, and guide project execution to meet organisational goals.

Duties & responsibilities

• Define, prioritise, and manage the product backlog to align with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements for upcoming sprints and releases.
• Write clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure alignment.
• Evaluate product progress, feature quality, and feedback to adjust priorities as needed.
• Work closely with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure efficient delivery and scope management.
• Analyse performance data and customer feedback to guide decision-making and improvements.
• Support go-to-market planning, documentation, and product release coordination.
• Communicate roadmap updates, risks, and dependencies to management and stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Ability to work closely with development teams, QA, and Scrum Masters to ensure smooth product execution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product delivery cycles.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles, software lifecycle, and API integration is a plus.
• Strong Command of both Arabic and English Languages With Excellent Communication Skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable mindset focused on delivering value-driven outcomes.
• Certification such as Certified Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
• Experience with backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
• Familiarity with UX principles, software development lifecycle, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with product management and agile tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Click Up DevOps).
• Experience gathering and interpreting user feedback, metrics, and data to inform product decisions.
• Basic understanding of DevOps tools, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or CI/CD processes.
