Procurement Officer – Automotive Full Time NEW

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a seasoned Procurement & Orders Officer to join the team in Kuwait. This role is critical in managing our supply chain, focusing on overseas procurement and the seamless acquisition of vehicles and spare parts.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Procurement: Direct and manage all purchasing activities and procurement processes to ensure operational efficiency.
• International Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external principals and overseas agencies, handling high-volume orders with precision.
• Automotive Lifecycle Management: Follow up on specialized vehicle orders and spare parts requirements from placement to delivery.
• Supplier Relations: Coordinate with local and global suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any logistical discrepancies.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain rigorous procurement records and ensure all activities align with company purchasing policies and regional regulations.

Key Requirements

• Experience in procurement or purchasing. Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience dealing with external suppliers or overseas agencies is a distinct advantage.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships across different time zones and cultures.
• Ability to manage complex orders (vehicles/parts) with high accuracy.
