We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with deep expertise in sourcing and procuring Industrial machinery from China. The ideal candidate will be based in the UAE, possess strong supplier networks across China, and demonstrate fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) to effectively manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end procurement of construction machinery and equipment required for manufacturing plants.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable Chinese suppliers and OEMs for machinery such as mixers, reactors, batching systems, packaging lines, and related equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers in China to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Conduct commercial and technical negotiations, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and after-sales service agreements.
• Coordinate factory visits, supplier audits, and inspections in China to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to understand machinery specifications and ensure alignment with production requirements.
• Manage import logistics, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with UAE regulations.
• Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and technological advancements in construction machinery.
• Mitigate procurement risks and ensure contingency planning for supply disruptions.
• Maintain procurement budgets, cost-saving initiatives, and reporting metrics.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on sourcing machinery from China.
• Mandatory proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (both written and spoken).
• Extensive network of machinery suppliers, manufacturers, and agents across China.
• Strong understanding of international trade practices, import/export regulations, and logistics.
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is mandatory.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to China for supplier development and inspections.

• Technical understanding of plant machinery and process engineering related to construction chemicals.
• Familiarity with quality control standards, certifications, and factory audits in China.
• Experience in cost optimization, strategic sourcing, and long-term supplier agreements.
