Lead end-to-end review and governance of policy structures and content, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, best practices, and the bank’s Delegation of Authority (DoA), while driving consistency and reducing duplication across all policies.
Oversee policy implementation by coordinating with relevant stakeholders to validate execution, ensuring policies are effectively translated into practice and supported by appropriate evidence.
Define and manage policy ownership classification, advising policy and risk owners on roles, responsibilities, and regulatory expectations in line with organizational structure and industry practices.
Manage regulatory-to-policy mapping, including gap and overlap analysis, and act as the central authority on regulatory interpretation to ensure consistent application across the bank in coordination with Compliance.
Develop, maintain, and enhance policy standards, frameworks, templates, and internal review guidelines to ensure high-quality, consistent policy drafting and governance aligned with global best practices.
Lead and conduct policy effectiveness reviews (periodic and ad hoc), assessing practical application, regulatory alignment, Board feedback, and usage, and oversee reporting to Executive Management and Board Committees.
Oversee governance and review of MPMs and non-regulatory policies, including template development, classification, and alignment with internal governance standards and regulatory expectations.
Manage the full lifecycle of policies and MPMs, including reviews, approvals, sign-offs, tracking cycles, effective dates, publication, and regulatory correspondence to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Oversee preparation and standardization of submissions to Executive Management, the Board, and Board Committees, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with governance requirements.
Establish and enforce standards for implementing procedures, including developing and conducting health checks to assess alignment, linkage, and effectiveness between policies and procedures.
Drive continuous improvement of policy governance processes, including the development of systems, dashboards, and workflow enhancements to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee the management of a centralized policy repository, ensuring proper organization, version control, archiving, and accurate dissemination of policies across internal and external platforms.
Supervise and coordinate policy review working groups, and develop effective workflows, controls, and tracking mechanisms to enhance collaboration, governance, and team efficiency.

Proven experience in a senior role managing policies and procedures, with end-to-end responsibility for governance frameworks, policy development, and implementation within a complex organization.
