Outdoor Sales Representative – Power and Cooling Products & Services Full Time

We are seeking a driven and dynamic Outdoor Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in the sales of Power and Cooling products and services. This role involves working in the field, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical understanding of power and cooling solutions, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Development & Prospecting:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct cold calls, in-person visits, and presentations to potential clients across various industries (e.g., IT, telecommunications, data centers, industrial).
• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and closing of sales.
• Product Knowledge & Solution Selling:
• Understand the technical aspects of power and cooling products (e.g., UPS systems, generators, air conditioning units, HVAC systems) and services (e.g., installation, maintenance, upgrades).
• Provide expert guidance to clients, offering tailored solutions based on their specific requirements and needs.
• Relationship Management:
• Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to inquiries and provide after-sales support, ensuring a positive client experience from start to finish.
• Market Intelligence:
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands in the power and cooling sector.
• Share insights with the internal team to help shape product offerings and sales strategies.
• Sales Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management in CRM systems.
• Provide regular sales performance reports to the sales manager and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the power, cooling, HVAC, or energy solutions industry.
• Experience selling technical products and services is highly desirable.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to build relationships and manage key accounts.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to clients.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
• Other Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle client objections effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certifications or training in power, cooling, HVAC, or related fields.
• Experience working with large corporations, data centers, or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices within the power and cooling sector.
