Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead to oversee the effective execution and quality assurance of waste collection operations across Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for monitoring service delivery, ensuring compliance with municipal regulations, and driving operational improvements to maintain the highest service standards. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive operations professional with strong expertise in municipal waste management procedures, service delivery optimization, and fleet coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily waste collection operations to ensure services are delivered in accordance with performance standards and contractual obligations.
• Conduct operational audits and field inspections to verify route completion, crew performance, and overall service quality.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi municipality waste management regulations, policies, and operational procedures.
• Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and service failures, implementing corrective actions to improve performance.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Fleet, and Customer Experience teams to resolve service issues and prevent recurrence.
• Track, analyze, and report key operational KPIs, including service completion rates, missed collections, response times, and complaint resolution metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, safety, and service delivery standards.
• Liaise with municipal authorities as required regarding service delivery performance and compliance matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in waste management, environmental services, or municipal waste collection operations.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi municipality waste management operations and service compliance requirements.
• Experience in operations monitoring, auditing, quality assurance, or service performance management roles.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with operational teams and drive accountability in service delivery.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Arabic language proficiency is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with municipal waste management contractors or facilities management companies within the UAE.
