The Role: What You’ll Do
As our Operations Assistant, you will take full ownership of moving goods from point A to point B, ensuring our corporate clients get what they need, exactly when they need it.
- Freight Management: Coordinate and monitor end-to-end Sea Freight and Air Freight shipments.
- Lead Times Control: Proactively track manufacturing and transit timelines to mitigate delays and ensure strict B2B deadline compliance.
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our international suppliers, freight forwarders, and B2B carriers to maintain high service levels.
- Problem Solving: Rapidly resolve customs, documentation, or transit bottlenecks as they arise.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain precise logistics logs, inventory updates, and freight documentation.
What We’re Looking For (Required)
Note: We are specifically looking for a professional who understands the urgency, compliance, and scale of Business-to-Business (B2B) supply chains.
- Proven Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Operations Assistant or Logistics Coordinator, specifically managing both sea and air freight.
- B2B Environment: Solid experience working in a B2B environment (manufacturing, wholesale distribution, or industrial supply chains).
- Vendor Savvy: Strong track record in vendor management and holding international carriers/forwarders accountable.
- Timeline Obsessed: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage tight lead times and prevent supply chain disruptions.
- Remote Ready: Fully independent worker with a reliable remote setup, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English.
