Job Description

To support in the planning and successful delivery of the Zayed Sustainability Prize events and activities in line with business unit needs and objectives.

Key Accountabilities :

• Contribute to the identification of key global events to support the positioning of the Prize annually
• Research, support and coordinate event participation and attendance in global events throughout the year
• Ensure project plans are in place for all events the Prize is organising
• Identify all third parties required for the implementation of the Prize’s events and plan accordingly
• Complete all requisition processes as required by procurement
• Ensure all event activities are implemented within budget and time constraints
• Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure success and identify areas for improvement
• Support in delivering the annual Awards Ceremony and relevant events and activities during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week
• Support in the execution of the Prize events locally, regionally and internationally, in coordination with the relevant teams
• Ensure the scheduling and logistics for approved events are completed as per time and standards
• Coordinate all details with relevant teams for venue selection, branding, logistics, and collaterals
• Develop creative briefs for events and coordinate with agencies, ensuring objectives and strategies are clearly identified to facilitate working jointly with internal departments and outside agencies
• Complete all item requisition processes as required by Procurement
• Coordinate with all third-party agencies where required to deliver events as per requirements
• Ensure all event deliverables meet required quality, branding, and timeline standards
• Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the team
• Engage with and monitor relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and completion of services as per agreed parameters
• Prepare relevant reports and updates as required and to the desired standard
• Provide management information as and when required by the line manager – this includes the production and timely provision of accurate reports in line with reporting schedules
• Adhere to any applicable Masdar information security policies and procedures and identify and report security incidents and suspected weaknesses to the appropriate point(s) of contact.
• Protect assets under care (e.g. laptops and other devices) and information/credentials against unauthorized access, sharing, and/or damage/loss, in accordance with the Information Classification and Handling Procedure
• Clear desks of all sensitive material and log off/ lock workstations at the end of the day and when leaving desk for a prolonged period in accordance with Acceptable Usage Policies.
• Ensure not installing, copying or modifying of any software on Masdar equipment without authorization

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, event management, marketing, or related field

Preferred Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience in marketing, events management and/or outreach supporting the achievement of key programmes and events

Job-Specific Skills:

• Advanced communication skills in English and Arabic (verbal and written)
• Good project management skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent computer literacy, with strong background in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent ability to plan and organize work
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail
• This role is based in Abu Dhabi, successful candidates will be required to be in our offices.
