Position Summary

The Network & Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the organization’s network and security infrastructure. This role requires strong hands‑on experience with Sophos firewalls, Cisco switching, and cloud security technologies within Microsoft Azure and Intune environments. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and monitor Sophos firewalls, including security policies, VPNs, intrusion prevention, and threat protection.
• Administer and maintain Cisco switches, VLANs, routing, and network performance optimization.
• Implement and manage Microsoft Azure security controls, including identity management, conditional access, and cloud network security.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance policies, and endpoint security.
• Conduct regular network and security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk mitigation activities.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond to threats in a timely manner.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and security procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure design and implementation of new systems and services.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory cybersecurity standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and security issues.

Required Qualifications

• Saudi nationality (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network administration and cybersecurity engineering.
• Hands‑on expertise with:
• Sophos Firewall (XG/SG series)
• Cisco Switches (Layer 2/3)
• Microsoft Azure (security, networking, identity)
• Microsoft Intune (endpoint management)
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Ability to analyze logs, detect anomalies, and respond to security incidents.

Preferred Certifications

• Sophos Certified Engineer / Architect
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ‑104) or Security Engineer (AZ‑500)
• CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or similar
