MFG Application Assistant Manager Full Time NEW

Job Purpose

Reporting to the MFG App Manager, will form part of wider manufacturing IT team

responsible for implementing all manufacturing applications required in the smart

factory.

Therefore, it would be desirable for the successful candidate to have working knowledge

in system implementations at the manufacturing site and a drive to implement new

technologies.

The candidate will be exposed to a range of leading platforms and technologies towards

digital transformation.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies

Education:

· Bsc in Computer Science, other technical discipline or sufficient level of experience

Skills & Competencies:

· Manufacturing application implementation & support

· SDLC (waterfall + agile)

· Networks & security (Infoblox, Cisco ISE, OKTA, Zero Trust OT)

· Servers / Cloud / SAAS (Postgres, Linux, GCP/Azure/AWS)

· Low-code (Mendix or similar) + Programming (Java, Python, C++)

· Microsoft + Android device experience

· AI and Machine learning is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Accountabilities

Title MFG Application Assistant Manager · Support the implementation and operation of manufacturing solutons. from requirement gathering to system commissioning and support. · Coordinate and support third party vendors to ensure software is delivered within the project scope. · Provide level 2-3 system support to any of the implemented applications to the business in event of an incident to resolve in a timely manner. · Partnering closely with IT Infrastructure & other application teams to ensure a smooth system implementation and service delivery in case of an incident. · Training and nurturing the operation team and other system stakeholders to ensure all key users are trained to use suitably the software and related tools. · Align and coordinate with other solution architects on the Manufacturing IT landscape required for a smart factory.

Minimum Experience:

· 5 years in a Similar Role
