Role Description The MEP BIM Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in El Tagamoa El Khames. This role is responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) models within a multidisciplinary BIM environment, ensuring accurate integration with architectural and structural designs. The MEP BIM Coordinator will create, update, and manage BIM models, resolve clashes, and maintain model standards throughout project lifecycles. Daily tasks include collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers, preparing coordination drawings, supporting design reviews, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and BIM protocols. The role also involves documenting model changes, generating reports, and supporting site and office teams with accurate and timely BIM data. Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination, with experience managing multidisciplinary models and resolving clashes.
Solid understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within building projects.
Knowledge of Architecture and coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Experience with Project Management practices, including planning, coordination, documentation, and communication across project stakeholders.
Proficiency in relevant BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD or similar), and the ability to follow established BIM standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work to deadlines in a collaborative environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams on-site.
