Manager – Performance & Cost Control Full Time NEW

JOB PURPOSE:

Manager – Performance & Cost Control will be responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s Performance & Cost Control. This includes leading a team of planners in conducting research, analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize costs and enhance overall performance., and developing recommendations for the future growth of the company. Will also work closely with other departments to ensure that the Performance & Cost Control is aligned with the company’s overall strategic goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategic Contribution

• Execute the annual business plan and targets and comply with the strategic agenda of the Farms Mgmt. / Dairy to deliver Nadec vision and mission.
• Translate the strategy into operational business plans for the Farms Mgmt. / Dairy and lead the performance and execution of those plans to achieve functional objectives and deliver the Company’s strategy.

Leadership

• Direct the activities of the Technical Services team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.
• Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals.
• Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to NADEC vision, mission, values, and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team and continuously improve performance.

Budgeting

• Participate in the preparation of the functional budget and assess financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized.

Core Accountabilities

1. lead a team of planners in developing and implementing the company’s Performance & Cost Control.
2. Conduct research and analyse data to inform the Performance & Cost Control process.
3. Develop recommendations for the future growth and development of the company.
4. Work closely with other departments to ensure that the Performance & Cost Control is aligned with the company’s overall strategic goals.
5. Manage the budget and resources allocated to the Performance & Cost Control process.
6. Oversee the implementation of the Performance & Cost Control and track progress against goals.
7. Identify potential risks to Performance & Cost Control and develop mitigation strategies.
8. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational performance.
9. Monitor KPIs regularly and develop strategies to improve performance based on data-driven insights.
10. Communicate the Performance & Cost Control to stakeholders and keep them informed of progress.

• Adhere with direction for the development and implementation of organizational unit’s policies, systems, processes, and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Comply with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment. Change Management
• Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering best practices.
• Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and international principles of governance and the organization’s policies and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business Administration, or a related field
• MBA or Masters in a related field (Preferred)
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in Performance & Cost Control, preferably in a corporate setting.
