Maintenance Technician – Electrical / Electrician Full Time NEW

The Maintenance Technician – Electrical / Electrician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and resolving electrical technical issues, and attending to emergency situations across assigned properties. The role ensures all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyze, and repair electrical issues at assigned sites.
• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
• Attend electrical emergencies, including on-call duties, and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify technical issues and recommend system improvements to the Operations Manager.
• Supervise the Maintenance Team in carrying out electrical maintenance tasks to required standards.
• Provide technical training and guidance to operations and maintenance staff.
• Document emergency actions, maintenance activities, required parts/tools, and completion reports accurately.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations in all electrical works.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Line Manager.

Education

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or professional certification in Electrical Systems.
• Valid UAE Driver’s License.
• Health and Safety certification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience as an Electrician in property management, facilities management, or building maintenance environments.
• Expertise in panel boards, electrical lines, troubleshooting, and specialized measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, as well as control systems.
